Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

fanmake.ai is operated by RET KOREA CO.,LTD., a company based in the Republic of Korea. For any privacy request, contact hello@fanmake.ai.

This policy covers the fanmake.ai website, the app opening sign-up, purchases of the Fanmake Handbook and the Fanmake app. What we store for a purchase, and for how long, is set out in the privacy section of the Handbook purchase terms at fanmake.ai/tutorials/terms.

2. What we collect and why

App opening sign-up: your name, email address, main platform, follower range, niche, and anything you write in the optional notes field. We use this to tell you when the app opens and to prepare for the opening. We process it on the basis of the consent you give when you sign up.

Handbook opening notice: your email address and the products you selected. We use this to tell you when the Handbook goes on sale and to send you the opening offer. We process it on the basis of the consent you give when you sign up, and keep it under the same period as the app opening sign-up.

Fanmake app (once it opens): your account email and sign-in details, the content you upload and create, your usage records, and the external accounts you choose to connect. We use these to provide the service to you and your organization.

Email you send us: your email address and the content of your message, used to reply to you.

Technical information: when you submit a form we use your IP address to limit repeated requests. It is stored only as a hashed identifier that expires within one hour. Our servers may also keep standard access logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser type) for security and troubleshooting.

We do not ask for payment details, government identifiers or passwords on this website.

3. Cookies and browser storage

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Your language, light or dark theme, and color choice are saved in your own browser and are not sent to us.

If you buy or download the Handbook, essential cookies keep your checkout and downloads private. They are described in the Handbook purchase terms.

4. How we use and do not use your information

We use your information only for the purposes above. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Signing up for the app opening notice does not sign you up for marketing email. The Handbook opening notice includes an opening offer, which you agree to receive when you sign up for it. We ask separately before sending any other marketing messages.

5. Service providers and transfers abroad

We use the following providers to run this website. They process personal information only to provide their service to us.

Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., United States): email delivery. When you sign up, your details are sent through Resend to our operations inbox.

Google Cloud (Google LLC, United States): server hosting and storage of application records.

Stripe (Stripe, Inc., United States): payment processing for Handbook purchases only.

Because these providers operate internationally, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, at the time you submit a form, over an encrypted connection. It is kept by them for as long as we keep it, as set out below. If you do not agree to this transfer, please do not submit the application; you can still read this website.

6. How long we keep it

Sign-up information is kept until we have sent the opening notice or you ask us to delete yours, and in any case no longer than 12 months from the date you signed up. After that it is deleted.

If you create an app account, the information in your account is kept while the account is active. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your request. Hashed rate-limit identifiers expire within one hour.

7. Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, at any time by emailing hello@fanmake.ai from the address you applied with. We respond within 10 days. Withdrawing consent means we delete your sign-up and do not send you the opening notice.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the data protection authority where you live. In Korea: the Personal Information Infringement Report Center (privacy.kisa.or.kr, 118) or the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee (kopico.go.kr, 1833-6972).

8. Age

The sign-up and the app are for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has signed up, contact us and we will delete the information.

9. How we protect it

Information is sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Application records are stored in a database kept separate from the public website files, and access is limited to the staff who operate the service and answer support requests.

11. Changes to this policy

We will post changes on this page with a new date. If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will announce it on this website at least 7 days before it takes effect.
